
Parmeeta Ghoman, Vegetarian Columnist for the San Francisco Examiner, recently did a series of articles featuring us and our approach to vegetarian living. In this article, she did a review of our signature dish, Barbeque Seitan. Her version looks so good! She improvised a little and added a little chili garlic sauce for an Asian flair - yummy!

As I have previously mentioned I decided to introduce more vegan foods into my diet for 2011 and after testing out 21st Century Vegetarians Barbeque Seitan vegan recipe I am so glad I did!
Seitan is a fantastic replacement for chicken or beef, made from wheat gluten seitan is low fat, excellent source of protein and low in calories. Not only is this recipe really super easy to prepare and make but it tastes delicious. Three out of the four people who ate this dish were unsure of barbequed flavored foods however after eating 21st Century Vegetarians Barbeque Seitan all are now fans!
